About My Logo

The magic happens when you step outside what you know

For those who are interested in symbolism, I thought I'd include the meaning behind my logo. I put a lot of thought into the logo and it carries a lot of meaning. I also think it is a great representation of me and the way I work. It appears quite straightforward but scratch the surface and there is much deeper thought and impact behind what initially looks like a very ordinary exterior.

The triangle represents our spirit manifest on earth, the spiritual aspects of our life - the 3 points of the triangle representing mind body and soul and also the trinity God Goddess all that is; emotion, physical, mental -you know all those powerful "three" things. The colour that represents that for me is purple - the colour of the third eye - intuition and all those things that can't be explained from a text book.

The square represents reality, the earthly plain in which we live. The four points would be the representation of the four elements that make up our life - earth fire air and water; North South East and West. The colour of this would be red - the root chakra our connection to the earth, things tribal, how we relate to others, fire and passion, the red of the earth in Australia.

The triangle sitting within the square represents how the spiritual plain interacts with the earthly plain in our day to day lives. The total of all the points (3+4) adds to seven, which is a powerful number. This comes from the tarot card of Temperance - the card of balance. On the card a variation of the triangle & square symbol appears on the tunic of the Arc Angel Michael who carries the two edged sword of truth & love that cuts through obstacles and blocks. On the card the angel is pouring water between two cups which represents the essence of life, and the balance required to keep it flowing. Cos the angel has the symbol on his tunic I figure that anything I send out with my logo on will have the energy of the Archangel Michael behind it (if he chooses to go) - I kinda like that thought.

The circle surrounding the triangle and the square is a representation of the universe that surrounds us. It shows how we sit within the universe and have all that power of the universe in our hands if we choose to use it. The number 0 is also the new beginnings number - representing our inner self about to embark upon another of life's journeys, pretty symbolic for people seeking coaching and a new way of doing things. It's white because it's pure and white light surrounding anything makes it very safe.

The triangle and the square are rough, almost like a child has drawn them and shows we can go to our inner child for fun and joyous expression, it also indicates that these areas can be developed and perfected should we choose to do so. The circle is perfect, as I perceive the Universe to be perfect.

The two parts of ourself reaching out shows how we don't have to accept our lot, we can reach out past what are the expected norms and go for higher things than is normally thought possible. The square and triangle are areas of our life that we can choose to expand and grow. We can reach perfection should we so wish and then go past that into the unknown.

The dark blue and light blue colour behind the symbol is a new addition, it not only looks good, adds texture and shape but it represents the light and dark sides that drive us all the time. It represents duality in life, the male and female energies, yin and yang, happy and sad, night and day, heaven and earth, sea and sky etc. I am a Gemini so that twin energy is represented. As Gemini is the communicator, it is blue, and is represented by the throat chakra. The wavy line represents the water energy that surrounds where I live, and is representation of the flow of life. It's form is also quite feminine and sensual, a side of ourselves that is often placed low on the priority list, particularly in the business realm.

There you have it a simple symbol full of really neat stuff! Either that or it's just a triangle, a square and a circle - you choose!
